Mario Mechanics

This is an Unreal 4 project in where I imitated most of the mechanics the second level of Nintendo's Mario

As you can see I did the 2D map and incorporated its perspective, just like in Mario

Here's the side view of the of the character:

Which is only locked in this view and the camera cannot be moved by the mouse.

The pipes work! they can teleport you just like in the game to secret scenes, back to the level or even to another level. as for the brown spheres, those are the "Goombas" which can actually kill my Unreal Mario character, and if he has the mushroom it also makes him slightly bigger and can withstand 1 hit of the enemies.

Lastly to showcase the last recreated mechanic is the moving platforms on the end. Which speaking of the end I even programmed the last secret of this map...

This first video shows the basic parts of the game, in a part shows the replications of the Mushroom, the pipes working and the "Goombas".

In the second level of Mario, the blue blocks can only be broken by the character having taken a power up (Mushroom).

The Platforms of the level that spawn and destroy themselves once they reached their destination.

Another video showing how the pipes work and get you to the a secret part of the stage and back to the level.
